This workshop, inspired by Karl Horst Hödicke's work "Window and Squeegee (1969)" from the group exhibition "The Sky Was Candy," invites participants to explore how their ways of seeing and the boundaries they create around what is visible can transform their perception of reality. Drawing inspiration from Hödicke's pictorial approach, which utilizes a wiping technique, participants will interact with a surface of their choice – a wall, glass, mirror, or frame – by adding and removing elements. In doing so, they will question what they include and exclude from their "frames," discovering the filters through which they view the world and where their "windows" open. _*The language of the workshop will be Turkish._ **Aylin Zaptçıoğlu**, an artist living and working in Istanbul, graduated from the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2008. Since 2011, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held solo exhibitions in various galleries. Zaptçıoğlu's artistic practice centers around observations of the inner world of humans, using the changing balance of nature as a representation of spiritual depths. The artist's creative process begins with associations, resulting in compositions that are sometimes realistic and sometimes surreal, often described as "primitive." In addition to oil painting and engraving, she also creates three-dimensional works using various materials.
