Frank Bowling: Creation and Destruction. Inspired by Bowling's sculptures, which bring together different materials, the children imagine what familiar objects can be transformed into. They create new shapes by placing cardboard boxes, rolls, lids, wooden sticks, and pieces of cardboard in various arrangements – side by side, on top of each other, or interlocking. Discovering that a roll can become a chimney, a box a body, and a small piece a wing, the children bring together the pieces they choose to create an imaginary creature, vehicle, structure, or a completely new form. Throughout the workshop, they experiment with the pieces in different ways, observing how the position, orientation, or the addition of another piece can change the overall appearance; they reinterpret everyday materials through play and imagination.

About the Game:

OyunMu is a collective founded by architect Merih Bengisu Yiğit, comprised of a team of ten individuals from diverse disciplines, and focused on creating game-based projects. Offering workshops, talks, and publications for both adults and children, OyunMu interprets games from the perspectives of art, architecture, and communication. At the core of their projects, which are often undertaken as part of sustainable development plans, is the concept of "play." The collective's focus on games aims to highlight the constructive role that games can play in cultural practices and their potential to drive social change, while also emphasizing their educational, creative, entertaining, relaxing, and social benefits.
