Bir Portre Birçok Bakış
Even if one eye is larger than the other, the mouth is moved, or a portion of the face disappears, is it still a portrait of the same person?
Inspired by the unconventional portrait works of Francis Bacon, Victor Willing, and Frank Bowling, where the human figure is transformed in unique ways, the children first create their own original portraits on canvas. Then, the canvases are passed from one participant to the next in a round-robin fashion. In each round, the portrait is altered with instructions like "enlarge the left eye," "move the position of the ear," or "cover a section of the face," adding new interventions to the artwork. When the canvases are returned to their original creators, they have become strange and unique portraits, each bearing the marks of different participants.
