Frank Bowling: Creation and Destruction. Inspired by the unconventional and transforming portraits featured in the exhibition, the children are using playdough in various colors to create portraits using eyes, noses, mouths, hair, and facial features. They then place baking paper on top of the playdough and use a rolling pin to press down, flattening, stretching, and reshaping the faces. As the pieces spread, the colors blend, and the faces transform into unexpected shapes, creating strange and amusing new portraits.
