Olmayan Yerlerin Haritası
Frank Bowling: Creation and Destruction. Inspired by the map images featured in the exhibition, the children are exploring what maps can convey beyond simply depicting the world. The first section examines how maps are transformed in Bowling's work, focusing on the use of color, texture, and layers to turn a static source of information into a visual narrative. Subsequently, starting with various map examples, the children discover that maps can represent not only real geographies but also imaginary worlds, personal experiences, and unseen connections. In the production section, the children create imaginary maps using acrylic paint, watercolors, colored pencils, and various drawing materials on kraft paper, visualizing a dreamlike world through color, lines, symbols, and layers.
