For children aged 6-8.
Date: October 25, 2026, Sunday.
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Duration: 60 minutes.
Quota: 10 children + 10 adults.
This workshop, prepared by Atölyepikolo, begins with a guided tour of the first solo exhibition in Turkey by Italian artist Olivo Barbieri, titled "Time, Space, Geometry." With children, the workshop explores the artist's photographs taken in different regions, discussing the relationship between living and non-living things in nature, the functioning of ecosystems, and the small worlds within nature itself.
During the implementation phase, the children are inspired by the artist's photo series titled "Waterfall Project" and recreate a vast natural landscape within a small space. They shape a cascading waterfall, drawing inspiration from their own imaginations, and create their own miniature worlds.
About atölyepikolo.
Atölyepikolo, founded by two museum educators, offers workshops for children, families, and young people, focusing on diverse disciplines such as ecology, painting, sculpture, design, science, children's yoga, archaeology, and architecture. In Atölyepikolo's programs, children are the main focus; the educators see themselves as supportive figures, guiding children only when necessary. In Atölyepikolo workshops, children are encouraged to pursue their curiosity, explore, ask questions, challenge assumptions, discover, and actively construct knowledge.
