Borusan Story House hosts workshops designed specifically for children aged 4-6 and their families at Borusan Contemporary. Dramatic Games. Dr. Bahar Gürey, one of the most important figures in the field of "Expressionist Art" in our country and a trainer at Hikaye Evi, is presenting a collection exhibition: ""Haunted"featuring the artist Daniel Canogar's...250 K (likely referring to 250 Kelvin) Inspired by her work, she designed a special workshop for preschool children within the tranquil atmosphere of the Haunted Mansion.
Dramatic Games. In this workshop, which utilizes the "Expressionist Play" method, children, together with their families, explore and embody the curves, movements, and relationships between the wires in the artwork using their bodies. Through play, movement, and imagination, they experiment with the possibility of a wire transforming into something else.
In the workshop, children and their families create their own stories, drawing inspiration from the traces of the past. Together, they create a tree, and on its branches, they forge connections between the past, present, and future. At the end of the workshop, they independently create an image of the future, evoking memories of what is to come.
About Borusan Story House:
The Borusan Story House, established by the Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation, is a unique and experience-based educational program focused on children's out-of-school learning. The program features interdisciplinary and innovative modules for children, content that includes families as well as teachers, and educational workshops that combine art with the development of children, particularly their psychosocial well-being. These workshops, which focus on areas such as expressive play, creative drama, and visual arts, use storytelling as a means of self-expression and understanding of life.
