Bedenin Coğrafyası

Inspired by the "Creation and Destruction" exhibition, this workshop encourages participants to explore the body through sensation, movement, and form, drawing inspiration from the relationships between the body, portraits, and maps featured in the exhibition. Participants will focus on different parts of the body in turn, translating weight, tension, movement, and feelings onto paper using color, line, texture, and form.

Participants reconstruct the fragmented pieces, creating a new figure while not necessarily adhering to anatomical accuracy. They also treat the interior of the figure as a kind of landscape. The work, shaped by regions, boundaries, transitions, and concentrations, opens up possibilities for establishing new relationships between the felt body and the perceived body, and for rethinking the body from a different perspective.
