Çocuk Atölyesi: Topraktan Gökyüzüne: Bizim Dijital Atlasımız (7-11 Yaş)
In this workshop, led by the Studio MONNOM team, children aged 7-11 will explore Tayfun Erdoğmuş's personal exhibition, "Atlas 1/137,035999." The children will examine the artist's works, including "Ghost Herbarium (2000–2026)" and "Untitled (Natura) (2004–2024)," which shed light on his practice of collecting, classifying, transforming, and layering plants. Afterwards, they will create their own visual collections using dried plants and then transfer these collections to a digital format using the MONNOM app. After experimenting with scale, repetition, and layering on their digitized patterns, they will conclude the workshop by designing a unique collective atlas.
The language used in the workshop will be Turkish.
Studio MONNOM, born from the collaboration between İpek Kay's doctoral research on children's spatial experiences and Ufuk Aydın's expertise in digital product and game development, is a design and research studio focused on how children play and learn in the intersection of the physical and digital worlds. MONNOM develops games, tools, and spatial experiences that encourage children to interact with the digital world in a safer, more creative, and engaging way. The studio collaborates with cultural and educational institutions to conduct workshops and design physical-digital play and learning experiences.
