Çocuk Atölyesi: Benim Müzem (6-9 Yaş)
Led by the Atölyepikolo team, this workshop, designed for children aged 6-9, will invite participants on an inspiring journey through Arter's history as they examine the works in the group exhibition titled "In the Making." The activity, which aims to introduce children to the field of architecture, will continue with a discussion following the exhibition tour, exploring questions such as "How is a building designed?" and "What is the relationship between space and materials?" During the workshop's production phase, the children will explore the fundamental elements of architectural design, such as color and texture, and will redesign the Arter building using everyday materials.
The language used in the workshop will be Turkish.
Atölyepikolo was established by museum educators Aslı Ersoy and Elif Üngör with the aim of conducting workshops for children, families, and young people, focusing on diverse disciplines such as ecology, art, sculpture, design, science, yoga, juggling, and architecture. In these workshops, children are the main focus; the educators see themselves as facilitators, offering assistance to the children only when necessary. Atölyepikolo workshops encourage children to pursue their curiosity, explore, ask questions, investigate, discover, and construct knowledge.
