Zengin Mutfağı
The play depicts the events of June 15-16, 1970, the largest labor movement in the history of the Republic, as seen through the kitchen of a wealthy family.
Even the staff, who can only think about serving, will be unable to remain indifferent to the events unfolding before their eyes. Each of them will experience their share of the societal change.
Vasıf Öngören's play, which recounts these events in an engaging way, has been staged numerous times and adapted for the screen. In 1978, Şener Şen first played the role of the cook, Lütfü Usta, at the Istanbul City Theaters. After 40 years, he returns to the stage in the same role, this time with a new cast of young actors.
