Annemin Cenazesi: Tiyatro Oyunu
Abigail and Darren's mother has passed away, and everyone knows that death can be very expensive. They need a lot of money to hold a proper funeral for her, and they only have twenty-one days to do it. And yes, you have to pay extra if you want flowers at the funeral.
Abigail, a playwright, tries to get her play produced by a theater company, hoping to raise the money she needs. She plans to write a play about her mother. However, there's no guarantee that the play will sell enough tickets. Will Abigail be able to raise the money in time? Will Darren be able to come to terms with his past? Will things finally work out for people from working-class backgrounds?
"My Mother's Funeral: A Play," written by leading British playwright Kelly Jones, translated and directed by Emre Arslanbek, invites the audience to question the nature of theater, family, grief, and class conflict.
