Yalnız Başaklara Azgın Boğa
"The Lone Sunflower and the Rampaging Bull" (play title).
Two women, both in their fifties and struggling to find happiness, lead very different lives. One is quite wealthy, while the other makes a modest living teaching private English lessons. The wealthy woman, drawing on her own experiences, believes that her friend can also find happiness through casual relationships. She finds a man who seems suitable and invites him over. Soon after, the doorbell rings, and what the women perceive as the start of a fun time begins, or so they think. However, this ringing of the doorbell is actually the harbinger of a series of misunderstandings. These misunderstandings reveal to the women, who are desperately seeking a solution to their loneliness, just how misguided they are in their search, and that the certainties they cling to in order to survive are not necessarily the only truths. The man, meanwhile, navigates the situation with a sense of acceptance, continuing to live with the uncertainties in his own life. However, it is precisely these "uncertainties" that ultimately push the women towards change. As the man becomes increasingly withdrawn, the women are left to confront their own anxieties and the choices they have made.
As all the turmoil resolves, both women begin to realize that the very loneliness they couldn't accept is now what is calming and freeing them.
