It's not a story about crime; it's about a suppressed trauma, a cycle of thoughts intertwined with womanhood and guilt.

Dr. Zeynep, a psychiatrist working at a private clinic, unintentionally causes the death of her patient, Erkut, while trying to treat him. This incident shatters her orderly and controlled life. Zeynep finds herself in an interrogation room, under arrest. However, this process is not just a legal investigation; the doors to her past are also forcibly opened.

Zeynep's childhood sexual abuse was suppressed for years, unspoken, and relegated to a dark corner of her mind. Following this trauma, in order to cope with life as a child, she created an imaginary friend:

This angel is neither entirely good nor entirely evil. It's an entity that resides within Zeynep's "inner world," protecting her, silencing her, and sometimes confronting her with harsh truths. With Erkut's death, the Angel in the Black Cloak is no longer silent...

As the interrogation and questioning process progresses, Azize sometimes acts as a lawyer, and sometimes as a childhood friend. She is, in reality, a counter-consciousness that forces Zeynep to confront the traumas she has suppressed. The interrogation room, the courtroom, and Zeynep's mind become intertwined. Reality and fantasy, guilt and defense, victimhood and responsibility, all become blurred.

At the end of the legal process, Zeynep is faced with two options:

He will either go to prison, or he will be barred from his profession if he agrees to undergo long-term psychiatric treatment.

Is Zeynep truly ready to heal, or will she choose to remain trapped in the darkness within her, alongside the Angel of Darkness?
