Clandras Bridge / Uşak: The historic Clandras Bridge, located in Karahallı district of Uşak Province and built during the Phrygian period, was constructed over the Banaz River approximately 2500 years ago. Both sides of the bridge are supported by mountain rock; it is 24 meters long, 17 meters deep, and 1.75 meters wide. Ulubey Canyons and Glass Terrace: Ulubey Canyon lies within the boundaries of Ulubey district in Uşak Province. It is the world's second-largest canyon after the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. The canyon consists of a main canyon extending along the Ulubey and Banaz rivers, along with dozens of large side canyons connected to it. The Ulubey River has transformed the entire canyon into a hidden paradise. As part of Canyon Glass Terrace Park, opened by the Ulubey District Governorship in 2015, a 302-square-meter cafeteria and a 135-square-meter glass observation terrace, 150 meters above the ground, were built. The load per square meter on the glass terrace is 801.2 kg. The glass is 30 mm thick and bulletproof. The Ancient City of Bloundos: It was founded by people who came from Macedonia after Alexander the Great’s campaigns in Anatolia, and it is said that the city’s inhabitants called themselves Macedonian Bloundos. After Alexander the Great, the city became part of the Kingdom of Pergamon and then the Roman Empire, and its importance increased during the Roman period. The city, located on a peninsula surrounded by deep valleys, has important structures including a fortress, temples, a theater, a stadium, and rock tombs. Kula Fairy Chimneys: Manisa Kula and its surroundings have a volcanic geological structure. In the Burgaz area, in the upper part of the Gediz River, natural formations resembling fairy chimneys can be seen; they were formed by temperature changes, rain, wind, and erosion. They create a magnificent pastel-toned landscape in the Gediz Valley. Kula Divlit Volcanic Geopark – Manisa: The Kula-Salihli Global Geopark, which was included in the UNESCO Global Geoparks List in 2013 and registered by UNESCO in 2019 as Türkiye’s first and only UNESCO-labeled geopark, attracts attention with its visual beauty and atmosphere. Taşyaran Valley: Located on the Uşak–İzmir Highway approximately 45 km from the city center, Taşyaran Valley was formed by water, wind, and tectonic movements. The rocks covering the valley and taking on different colors from the ground upward look like a painter’s color palette. The Gediz River, fed by mountain waters in the inland parts of Western Anatolia, has created interesting formations in this section of the Gediz Basin, which includes Taşyaran Valley. Water has cut through the rocks in the valley, forming a geologically very interesting and unique canyon.
