Target - 12'den

"Target-12" is a physical theater/performance piece that explores themes of power, fear, vulnerability, and the potential for imagination, all through the interaction of two bodies. The play examines the tension between the tough exterior that humans create to protect themselves and the fragile inner self that still strives to survive. The performance, which oscillates between closeness and distance, control and surrender, play and conflict, brings to the stage the body's memory, repressed emotions, and the possibility of transformation. Through dance, movement, text, and direct encounters, the work invites the audience not just to watch, but to become a part of this tension. The piece offers a live performance experience that evolves through the interactive participation of the audience.

We would like to express our gratitude to Kurtuluş Sanat, Çatı Dans, and Purespace for opening their spaces to us during our rehearsal process; to Taylan Yiğit Aşkır and Dmitri Boicov for their support throughout the preparation and staging; and to Fırat Aktav for his piano composition, which added so much to the performance.
