Izzet is a crow from Istanbul. Having grown up in the streets, he is keenly aware of all the positive and negative behaviors of humans. When he appears as a narrator, he begins to tell a story of revenge. After his friend Erkut is arbitrarily and brutally killed by a human, Izzet organizes the crows to take revenge on humanity.
The relationship between humans and animals is such that humans' reckless, selfish, and brutal behavior will be observed by the crows, who, by their very nature, are vindictive. They will use this inherent tendency to protect all animals, establishing a new kind of justice (a new "Racon").
