"Life Reflexes" brings to the stage the reflexes we unconsciously develop in our relationships with ourselves, with others, and with life itself.
The small reactions we all have in everyday life actually reveal a lot about who we are. Often, we don't realize why we get offended by certain words, why we remain silent, why we laugh, or why we get stuck in the same patterns. However, our reactions are what determine our next steps.
Figen Zekier, portraying Leyla on stage, voices the things we can't say, engages in thought with the audience, sometimes seeking help, and sometimes offering judgments. Watching her experience, think, and react is like looking at ourselves from the outside.
