dünyanın en mutlu insanı

I'm grappling with the past. I'm reading things I wrote a long time ago. A sentence catches my eye: "I am the happiest person in the world." I stand still for a few minutes, motionless. I think. No, I'm not happy. I ask myself why I'm not happy, despite all my efforts. I realize that this isn's about me; it's about the system itself, which seems to be actively working against our happiness. So, I think, if there's such a force opposing me, then I'm going to confront it with my greatest weapon: my very existence. And I declare myself the happiest person in the world.

The script for this play was initially written as a short play, focusing on the theme of "labor," and was a collaboration between Civil Production, Birileri.xyz, and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, drawing inspiration from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I'm so glad they exist!
