Bir Bedenin Sahneleri
"Scenes of a Body" is a poetic and intimate performance exploring the body's memory, transformation, boundaries, and possibilities.
Through movement, gesture, and the presence of the body, this performance invites children to explore their own bodies with curiosity and care, paying attention to every detail, and experiencing the expressive potential of the body.
In this performance, the body itself becomes the stage: a woman's body, the body of a former gymnast, the body of a performer. It's a body that changes over time, bearing the marks of lived experiences, a body striving to understand itself and to accept all its parts.
"Scenes of a Body" is a theatrical research process developed in collaboration with kindergartens and preschools, created with and for children. This collaborative creative process transforms the body into a space for imagination, transformation, and discovery, while also fostering new connections between children and performers.
Previously shown in: Italy.
"Scenes of a Body" is made possible with the support of the Italian Cultural Center of Istanbul and with the contribution of the ATER Foundation.
