Little Talents, Great Hopes
This special concert, held as part of Atatürk Commemoration Week, brings to the stage, through the universal language of music, the values that the Republic places on art, education, and youth. The evening, titled "Little Talents, Great Hopes," brings together the cultural heritage of the past and the artists of the future on the same stage.
Under the direction of Cihat Aşkın, the Aromsa Chamber Orchestra performs selected works from Turkish and world music, reflecting the Republic's modern, universal artistic vision, rooted in its own cultural heritage. The program features a repertoire ranging from Muammer Sun to Georges Bizet, from Johann Sebastian Bach to Jules Massenet and Fritz Kreisler, combined with examples of Turkish folk songs and music. The evening's soloist, baritone Burak Bilgili, who represents Turkey on international opera stages, combines the powerful expression of the opera repertoire with the musical memory of Anatolia.
At the heart of the concert are the future artists. Tuana Ünal, Kaya Hasırcıoğlu, Tuna Erdil, and Kayla Kınay take to the stage with the Aromsa Chamber Orchestra, performing selected works from different generations, sharing their talents and musical knowledge with the audience.
"Little Talents, Great Hopes" brings together experienced artists and young musicians on the same stage, and is not just a commemorative concert; it is a musical encounter that carries Atatürk's faith in art, education, and youth into the future.
The Republic can only be carried into the future to the extent that its values are passed on to new generations. Tonight, we respectfully remember the past, and we hear the future in the music of the young people.
