In the play "The Window," we witness the tension between a writer and the female character she has created. Ferda is a young woman who writes plays. In order for her play to be staged, she decides to alter the play and its main character, Feza. However, Feza, with her sharp wit and unique personality, will unexpectedly change the course of the story, standing against this censorship. As the play unfolds in a seemingly ordinary basement, Ferda gradually transforms into Feza, and they are far from alone...

This play, written by the acclaimed playwright Alis Çalışkan, whose works include "What Will Become of Yusuf Umut?" and "Everyone Looks Like My Big Brother," offers a satirical look at our lives, filled with countless anxieties. The direction is being handled by İlyas Özçakır, who also directed "Some People," a collection of works by 30 different writers based on the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and "Büyük Zarifi Apartmanı," one of the most special projects in the festival's 2023 selection.
