This concert, inspired by the human stories expressed in the songs of Kardeş Türküler and Ahmet Kaya, brings together through music the shared values of different identities and cultures, the hope for peace and living together.
A child’s dream, a worker’s song, a woman’s world… Through the songs of Kardeş Türküler and Ahmet Kaya, the story of “all of us” comes to life, sometimes with joy and sometimes with sorrow, but always with hope. This gathering, taking place in the 25th year since Ahmet Kaya’s passing, also merges with Kardeş Türküler’s pluralistic musical language to say, “Not you, not me, but all of us!” and strengthen our belief that we can live together.
