Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre is Istanbul's most storied outdoor venue, located in the Harbiye quarter of Şişli. Opened in 1947, the theatre is named after Cemil Topuzlu, a former mayor of Istanbul.
Built in the form of an ancient amphitheatre, its semi-circular seating under the open sky offers a truly unique concert experience. Throughout the summer season it sits at the heart of Istanbul's cultural calendar, hosting leading artists from Türkiye and around the world.
Within walking distance of Taksim and easily reached by metro and public transport, the venue is operated under the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and continues to bring thousands of music lovers together under the stars every summer.
