Narrator (in a soft, warm tone):
“In the middle of the Bosphorus, there was a tower that seemed lonely but actually held thousands of stories in its heart… The Maiden's Tower. As the first evening of Ramadan approached, even the waters surrounding the tower looked more peaceful.”

Narrator:
“In the tower lived a little girl named Leyla. Her father was on duty in the tower, so every Ramadan, they were the first to see the light gliding over the sea at iftar time. Leyla was very excited that evening. Because she remembered a rumor she had heard for years:
‘On the first night of Ramadan, the light that appears at the top of the tower hears the wish of a pure-hearted child.’”

Narrator:
“Leyla quickly climbed the tower's steps. When she reached the top, the sun was touching the water for the last time. The little girl placed her hands on her heart and closed her eyes.”

Leyla (child's voice, close to a whisper):
“Oh Allah… This Ramadan, I pray not just for myself… so that no one feels lonely.”

Narrator:
“At that moment, a thin light appeared at the top of the tower. Even the wind suddenly stopped. The light circled around Leyla and then glided over the sea.”

Leyla (in astonishment):
“Dad! Dad! The light heard my wish!”

Narrator:
“As the call to prayer for iftar began to be heard, something extraordinary happened around the tower. The fishing boats in the sea, the people on the opposite shore… everyone saw that light shining in the sky at the same time. It was as if all of Istanbul paused for a moment, sitting at the same table.”

Narrator:
“That evening, an unexpected guest arrived at the tower. An old lady knocked on the door with a small basket in her hand.”

Aunt (in a soft, grandmotherly tone):
“Is my daughter Leyla here? I break my fast alone every year during Ramadan… But my heart brought me here tonight.”

Narrator:
“Leyla ran to the door with joy. Her father set the table wider, and the breeze from the sea carried the scent of dates. That night, the three of them broke their fast together… And Leyla noticed something:
The light of her wish had illuminated not just the sky, but another heart as well.”

Narrator (with a calm, soft final tone):
“That was how Ramadan was in Istanbul… A light, a prayer, a table… and hearts coming together unexpectedly in an instant.
From that day on, whenever Ramadan came, the same light would rise from the top of the Maiden's Tower. They say that…
That light is the light of sharing.
And everyone with a pure heart will surely see that light.”
