About Venue
The three adjoining churches of the 12th-century Pantokrator Monastery, built for the Komnenos dynasty, form the largest surviving Byzantine building in the city after Hagia Sophia. Reopened after a long restoration; look for the opus sectile stone floor and the brickwork outside. Zeyrek's lanes of wooden houses lead on towards Süleymaniye.
