Üsküdar Sahili ve Mihrimah Sultan Camii

Facing the Üsküdar pier, the Mihrimah Sultan Mosque (1548) is an early work of Sinan dedicated to the same princess as its namesake at Edirnekapı. The Ahmed III fountain in the square, the Şemsi Pasha Mosque on the shore and the Salacak promenade are all together here. From the waterfront, the old-city skyline is at its best in the evening.
