Nakkaştepe Millet Bahçesi

Nakkaştepe Public Garden, on the hill beside the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Üsküdar, opened on 8 December 2018. It was built by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation and is run by Üsküdar Municipality, which presents it as Istanbul's first public garden of this kind. Its 90,000 square metres hold viewing terraces over the Bosphorus, a natural pond with a waterfall, a wooden bridge, an amphitheatre, a plant display area, an events meadow, playgrounds, a nature workshop called Mucit Evi and a 3,200-metre running track. There is also a prayer room, a cafe and toilets. Entry is free.
