Kadıköy's headland facing the Marmara is the city's favourite sunset spot, with a lawn-covered seaside park, the historic Moda pier and its tea garden. The streets behind are known for ice-cream parlours, coffee houses and second-hand bookshops. The nostalgic tram loops from Kadıköy pier to Moda; allow one to two hours for a walk.
