About Venue
On the city's highest hill just inside the land walls, this mosque was designed by Sinan for Mihrimah Sultan, daughter of Süleyman. Hundreds of windows beneath a single dome make the interior exceptionally bright. Dedicated to the same princess as the Mihrimah Mosque in Üsküdar, the two make a meaningful pair to visit in one day.
