Kanlıca

This small ferry village on the Asian shore has been famous for centuries for its thick creamy yoghurt dusted with powdered sugar. Bosphorus cruise ferries stop here, so you can get off, sit down at the yoghurt shops on the pier square and see the İskender Pasha Mosque of 1560 in a few minutes. The Khedive's Villa is reached from here too, twenty minutes if you are willing to take the hill.
