İstanbul Kitapçısı Eminönü Şubesi

The branch of İstanbul Kitapçısı, the bookshop of İBB Kültür AŞ, in the City Lines' Katip Çelebi Pier on the Eminönü waterfront. It opened in December 2013 as the brand's sixth branch, and the pier's original structure was preserved in the conversion. Its shelves carry the history, culture and literature titles of İBB Publications alongside books from many publishers, with a focus on Istanbul, as well as Hediyem İstanbul products. Together with the Kadıköy and Karaköy branches it is one of three with a café, and it looks out over the Bosphorus. The pier is named after Katip Çelebi, the 17th-century scholar who wrote the great bibliography Keşfü'z-zunun. Current opening hours are published on kultur.istanbul.
