Hava Kuvvetleri Müzesi

Opened in 1998, the museum tells the story of Turkish aviation through airframes, engines, uniforms and documents; dozens of aircraft including F-104s, F-4s and transports stand outdoors and you can climb into some cockpits. If you like aviation or have a child with you, this is Ankara's most unusual museum. Free for under-18s and over-65s. Put it on the same day as Göksu Park and your western Ankara tour is complete.
