About Venue
Founded in 1491 as Istanbul's first Mevlevi lodge, this walled garden compound beside Tünel is one of Beyoğlu's most peaceful corners. Visit the wooden ceremonial hall, the dervishes' belongings and the tomb of the poet Şeyh Galib; whirling ceremonies are held on certain days. Allow 45 minutes.
