Galata Köprüsü

Spanning the Golden Horn between Eminönü and Karaköy, the bridge is one of the city's liveliest crossings, with anglers on the deck above and fish restaurants below. Walking across takes ten minutes and gives views both ways: Süleymaniye and the New Mosque on one side, Galata Tower on the other. Walk it at sunset rather than taking the tram.
