Fethi Pasha Park.
Üsküdar, İstanbul
About Venue
The Fethi Paşa Grove covers the slope running down to the Bosphorus at Paşalimanı in Üsküdar, between Kuzguncuk and Sultantepe. It is named after Fethi Ahmed Paşa, a 19th-century Ottoman governor, ambassador and minister, who according to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's tourism portal bought the land in 1858 and laid it out as a place of rest and recreation. After a long period of neglect it was restored and opened to the public, and it is run today by the metropolitan municipality. It has viewing points over the Bosphorus and the European side, walking and jogging paths, playgrounds and picnic areas. Entry is free.
