About Venue
Completed in 1856 and home to the last Ottoman sultans, this Bosphorus-side palace is known for its European-style facade, the Ceremonial Hall with its 4.5-ton chandelier and the room where Atatürk died. The Selamlık and Harem sections are visited with a guide or audio guide; the gardens and clock tower are free. Allow two to three hours for everything.
