About Venue

The Beykoz Glass and Crystal Museum, run by the National Palaces administration, takes its name from the imperial glass and crystal factory founded in Beykoz in the Ottoman period and regarded as the most important of its day. It opened on 9 April 2021 in the U-shaped stone stable built in the 19th century by Abraham Paşa, steward to Khedive İsmail Paşa of Egypt. About 1,480 pieces are displayed in 12 thematic sections, including Turkish glass and pieces made in Europe for the Ottoman palaces. The museum garden holds 117 tree species. It is closed on Mondays.
