Zengin Mutfağı
"The Rich Kitchen" - A Play.
A glimpse into the kitchen of a wealthy family, reflecting the largest labor movement in the history of the Republic: the events of June 15-16, 1970.
The staff of the palace, who can think of nothing but serving, will inevitably be affected by the events unfolding before their eyes. Each of them will experience their share of the changes happening in society.
Vasıf Öngören's play, which humorously portrays these events, has been staged numerous times and also adapted for the screen. In 1978, Şener Şen played the character of the cook, Lütfü Usta, at the Istanbul City Theatres. After 40 years, he is returning to the stage in the same role, this time with a new, younger cast.
