If a person were given the opportunity to live forever, what would they do? Is humanity merely a collection of values we cannot define, a series of possibilities, a pile of flesh? Everything on Earth is flawed because it is subject to a beginning and an end. Human life is limited, and from this limitation, we cannot create something infinite. On one hand, we race through life, experiencing the world for as long as we are given. On the other hand, we succumb to the dictates of our pride, convinced that this world was built solely for us and that we will never die. Death comes for others, but never for us. Master Zacharius attempts to overcome this fate by constructing a new space-time, an alternative to God. He will awaken the forgotten time, set the gears in motion, and become the Lord of Time, living forever. To be forced to relive this life, again and again, countless times – that is what it means to be immortal on Earth! Every pain, every joy, every experience, no matter how insignificant or grand, will repeat itself, in the same order, over and over – the twilight filtering through the trees, even that spider. The hourglass of existence, with you, a single grain of sand, will be turned upside down again and again. The past is shattered, the present is nothing more than an assumption, and the future has been erased.
