Yasak Helva

Yasak Helva will be performing at the Monk Community stage on Wednesday, October 28th!

"Yasak Helva" is an "Anatolian Fusion" project brought to life by three musicians of Balkan origin whose paths crossed in Izmir.

The group draws inspiration from the multicultural musical heritage of Anatolia, bringing together its own compositions alongside traditional melodies and songs from different regions of the world on the same stage.

In this world built with electric saz, baglama, bass guitar, and drums, Yasak Helva takes all the musical genres you know and filters them through an Anatolian lens, delivering a completely new and incredibly intriguing sound.
