Tufting Carpet Workshop - Design Your Own Rug.

The Tufting Workshop is a creative workshop where anyone can learn tufting, a modern textile production technique, without any prior experience. It results in a unique, handmade product created by the participants themselves.

The experience begins with the participant choosing their own design and colors. Abstract patterns with clean lines, simple color blocks, geometric shapes, or basic figures work best for the tufting technique. For personalized or more detailed designs, it is recommended to share the visual beforehand. Then, the participant uses a specialized tufting gun to gradually work the threads into the stretched fabric surface. The project can be created in various formats, such as rugs, wall decorations, bags, keyboard rests, car mats, or small decorative items.

Once the application is complete, a surface smoothing process is performed to refine the overall appearance of the product. Because it is handcrafted, each piece is unique and original. The workshop typically lasts 2.5 to 3 hours, but the duration can vary depending on the size of the product, the level of detail in the design, and the number of people working on it.

The standard package includes acrylic yarn and surface shaving. For guests who desire a more specialized result, upgrades such as wool or viscose yarn, backing, and detailed 3D curving can be offered as additional options for an extra charge.
