Soundcheck - An All Music Quiz: Questions in English & Turkish

Pub Quiz nights continue at Yabangee Base in Cihangir, and on Monday, September 21st, we're turning up the volume for Soundcheck: An All Music Quiz, a night dedicated to music from the year 2000 to the present day. From the songs that dominated the early 2000s to the tracks filling playlists today, Soundcheck will take you on a journey through over two decades of music, spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, indie, electronic, and everything in between. The focus will be largely international, with minimal Turkish music, so expect a soundtrack built around songs and artists heard around the world. This quiz is less about memorizing music trivia and more about recognizing what you're hearing. The majority of the quiz will involve listening to music and identifying songs and artists, alongside a selection of other music-related questions and challenges. The night begins with doors opening at 19:30, giving everyone time to arrive, grab a drink, and settle in. The quiz starts promptly at 20:30 and will wrap up around 21:30–22:00. Guests are welcome to stay afterward and continue socializing. We've added a minimal ticket fee primarily to encourage stronger RSVPs and to give us a clearer sense of attendance in advance. Throughout the evening, you're going to be listening to songs and trying to identify the tracks and artists. In addition to this, there will be various music-related questions and challenges. The doors will open at 7:30 PM, giving everyone enough time to arrive, grab a drink, and find a seat. The quiz will start promptly at 8:30 PM and is expected to conclude around 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
