YELDEĞİRMENİ ART 2026-27 SEASON OPENING CONCERT GÜLSİN ONAY Yeldeğirmeni Art is hosting Gülsin Onay for the opening concert of the 2026-27 season. This special concert is also an invitation to the world of Frédéric Chopin, characterized by elegance, passion, and poetry. Gülsin Onay, who was honored with the State Medal in Poland in 2007 for her interpretations of Chopin, will present a carefully selected program spanning from the composer's early works to his later masterpieces. In addition to the praise she received in the United States after her Newport Festival recital, where critics said "Gülsin Onay's performance of Beethoven's late sonata, Opus 111, rivaled that of Schnabel," the artist's international career, which includes performances in 80 countries across all continents, from Venezuela to Japan, has been lauded in Berlin by Tagesspiegel as "extraordinary... sublime virtuosity, personal charm, sensitivity, and depth," and at the Würzburg Mozartfest concert, she was celebrated with the words "Mozart in paradise."
