RUT a tribute to Radiohead
RUT, a tribute band to Radiohead, was formed in Eskisehir in 2022. The group, which reinterprets Radiohead's songs with acoustic arrangements and string instruments, quickly gained attention for its unique stage presence.
Since its establishment, RUT has performed on numerous stages, primarily in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
They were also able to reach a large audience across all of Turkey through the performance videos they shared.
The band, consisting of Emre Akbay and Tunç Aydoğmuş on vocals and acoustic guitars, Oktay Zengin on drums, Berk Yılmaz on bass guitar, and Azar Quliyev on violin and cello, delivers a performance that is both intimate and engaging, connecting with the audience while blending the spirit of Radiohead with their own unique style.
Since its inception, RUT has continued to connect with Radiohead fans in various cities, and the band is currently touring throughout Turkey, aiming to expand this journey with new concerts.
