The Sema ceremony consists of several distinct sections, each with its own Sufi significance, including the "naat" (religious hymns), the "ney taksimi" (ney flute improvisation), the "peşrev" (a traditional instrumental piece), the "devr-i veledi" (a whirling dance), and the "dört selam" (four salutations).
