The film tells the story of Zakaria, a struggling small-time P. Ramlee impersonator in 1974 Kuala Lumpur. P. Ramlee, the legendary Malaysian actor, singer, and director, has already passed away, but his art is already being declared "old-fashioned." Zakaria is approached by Yusuf, a local gangster to whom he owes money, with an unexpected offer: to dress up as Ramlee to entertain Yusuf's sister, Zaiton, who believes she is still living in the 1950s. This bizarre task gradually develops into a deep and dangerous connection between Zakaria and Zaiton. With its colorful costumes, retro music, and glamorous 1970s atmosphere, the film is a romantic comedy that also contains a poignant drama.
