Friday, October 9, 2026 - Departure Date.

Pürenli Highland Tent Camp.

Located within the boundaries of Bolu, the Pürenli Highland sits at an altitude of approximately 1,400 meters. With its vast forests, traditional highland houses, and a small lake formed by melting snow, it offers nature lovers a unique camping experience. The highland is named after the abundance of "püren" plants that grow in the region.

Upon arriving at the highland, we will set up our campsite and pitch our tents. We will enjoy the natural beauty, taking in the stunning views of the highland houses, the lake, and the forest, and we'll be taking lots of photos.

On Saturday or Sunday, we will be organizing a short hike for those who are interested.

Food and beverage.

1. The nearest settlement to the campsite is approximately 5 kilometers away. Therefore, we need to ensure we have all our food, drinks, and water supplies before we set off.

2. We will have our breakfasts together, sharing the food that we bring with us.

3. For dinner, we will be grilling meatballs and sausages on the campfire and making sandwiches. Those who wish can also bring their own canned goods or other food items.

Clothing and Personal Equipment.

• A boot that fits snugly around the ankle, is waterproof, and has a sturdy sole.

• Spare clothes.

• Thermal underwear.

• Polar jacket.

• Raincoat.

• Headlamp.

• Dust cover.

• Regularly used medications.

If you regularly take any medication or have a specific medical need, please bring it with you and inform the activity coordinator.

Other Camping Equipment.

1. Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, camping chair, and small portable table.

2. Soap, toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, and tissues, which are personal hygiene products.

3. Enough breakfast items, snacks, and sandwiches for two days.

4. Personalized mugs, plates, forks, and knives.

About the Campsite.

• We will set up our tents in a large, open meadow area.

• The region is quite pristine and boasts a unique natural environment with its reservoir, forest, and highland houses.

• Clean water is available.

• There are no grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, or guesthouses in the area.

• There are no restrooms available. In short, we will be picking flowers in the forest. 😊
