Modundayız Sunar: Sports, Öncesi: Kıyı Müzik DJ Set

DREAM POP SENSATION SPORTS MAKES ITS DEBUT IN ISTANBUL! The dream pop duo Sports, hailing from Oklahoma, is coming to Turkey for the first time as part of their world tour in 2026, presented by Modundayız, and will be performing at the Blind stage. The project, built on the long-standing friendship of Christian Theriot and Cale Chronister, is ready to captivate music lovers once again with their latest single, "Keep Falling In Love." This new track, woven with soft vocals, shimmering synth textures, and emotional depth, is one of the group's most intimate and heartfelt works to date. It also serves as a preview of their upcoming album, which is entirely self-produced. "We recorded this song in one day at Salvation Studios in Brighton. Everything just clicked that day. The song was written for my wife, who I've been with since I was 16. It's about growing in love, changing, and choosing each other every day, despite everything," says vocalist Cale Chronister. Sports, who achieved a breakthrough with their debut single "You Are The Right One," have solidified their place in the indie scene, reaching over 180 million streams on Spotify. The band, which has released three albums to date, is continuing its musical evolution with a completely independent project recorded in their own studios. The time they spend in their own studios, which they established in Tulsa, has given them complete creative freedom. This new era is not only a musical one but also a personal transformation. "For the first time, we did everything ourselves on this album. Working without a producer was a big step, but it resulted in something that truly represents us," says guitarist Christian Theriot. Sports, who will be meeting their fans in Istanbul for the first time as part of their 2026 world tour, is preparing to deliver an unforgettable experience on stage with their performances that push the boundaries of indie pop and their unique atmosphere. The concert will be opened with a memorable DJ set by Kıyı Müzik.
