Modundayız Sunar: Bubble Tea And Cigarettes
New York-based dream pop / slowcore duo Bubble Tea and Cigarettes will take the Blind stage on October 27 for their first concert in Türkiye.
Born from the combination of Kat’s fragile vocals and Andi’s cinematic productions, the band has become one of the most compelling independent acts of recent years with music that melts melancholy, nostalgia, and inner intensity into a single whole. Drifting through dreamlike atmospheres, their songs draw listeners into a world that is both personal and hypnotic.
Since their 2019 debut, the duo has built a loyal and rapidly growing global audience. While creating an emotional refuge with their first album, There’s Nothing But Pleasure, they approached themes of loneliness, love, and modern alienation from a darker place on their second album, We Should’ve Killed Each Other. Having drawn particular attention through their concerts and festival performances in Asia, Bubble Tea and Cigarettes are now preparing to meet the Istanbul audience for the first time.
